Because some people cant stand resistance.

I done the same ^^
I think the most …
I think the most important part when learning Japanese is to get a grasp of the informal, basic grammar first, simply because it’s the basics for everything else.
If you go and learn the ~masu-form at once you make a huge mistake.
The best way to learn Japanese is to start with simple declarative phrases like “hito da”, “neko janakatta” and then learn the most frequently used particles – “neko wa inu janai” etc.
Why did I get a …
Why did I get a Poor Comment just because I advised people to keep some things in mind? -.-
These episodes DO give some incorrect information.
One classical mistake is to teach “desu” as an equivalent to “to be”, but “desu” is actually a polite ending that’s used at the end of a polite sentence that doesn’t end in a u/ru-verb.
For example, “I want to eat” would be “tabetai desu” in the polite form – how would you translate that?
“I wanna eat am”?
No hard feelings, these episodes are nice.
Yea, most of these …
Yea, most of these language lessons start by uming you’re a donkey then move up to a cat then some other species. I tried looking at an Arabic one and the language they used is never used when we talk lol. I think formality is overdone in this one too. But I guess you have to learn the language properly first…
i will probably go …
i will probably go to japan for 3 month when im 15 or 16, and i will lern japanse when im 14- but i think it would be good to lern it a little bit a before.

Depending on the context Japanese being very contextual, wa can be used to compare. Eg Watashi wa nihon jin desu (I am Japanese) Anata wa? (You are?). This series of Japanese is circa 1970′s as I recall – it is good! A great combo with the books.

Hm, these episodes …
Hm, these episodes are relatively good, but they make some typical mistakes:
1. They teach the polite forms before the dictionary forms, which is pretty bad since the dictionary form is the base for everything else.
2. The seem to treat “da” and “desu” as the same word, when “da” in fact is a declarative particle whereas “desu” is a polite ending.
For example, a sentence like “nihongo wo naraitai desu” would make no sense if “desu” were considered the Japanese word for “is”.
